This year’s dry conditions continued through the early summer. As wildfires raged throughout Colorado and the West, the wildflower season had an early and brief appearance. I didn’t get out much to photograph this year’s flower displays so I am posting an image from last year’s impressive bloom in the valleys near Crested Butte.
